Global Youth Ambassadors selected for Women Deliver Young Leaders Program
Our A World At School campaign revolves around our network of amazing Global Youth Ambassadors, who now number over 500 in 85 different countries. Our GYAs are聽聽a global network of young people campaigning in their schools, communities and countries for action to get every child into school and learning.聽
搁别肠别苍迟濒测,听聽were聽selected for the Young Leaders programme by聽, an advocacy organisation for girls鈥 and women鈥檚 health, rights and wellbeing.聽The youth ambassadors were:聽Vivian Onano, Joannes Paulus Yimbesalu, Hikmat Baba Dua, Diphus Ng鈥檈ny, Chiamaka Uzomba, Kelebogile Simula, and Jude Thaddues Njikem.
Women Deliver Young Leaders provides seed funding to 200 young people so they can start projects that help girls in their communities receive access to sexual and reproductive health advice and rights.
Women Deliver said: 鈥淲e believe that the health and rights of young people deserve priority, and that young people themselves have the potential to be powerful spokespeople on their own needs and agents of change transforming policies, programming and their communities for the better.鈥
