To mark Universal Children's Day, we asked celebrities to show their support for sa国际传媒's #5for5 campaign on early childhood development by sharing their own childhood pictures. Can you spot the famous young faces including Kim Cattrall, Patrick Stewart and聽Sharon Osbourne?


Today is Universal Children鈥檚聽Day 鈥撀燼 chance to spotlight the need for world leaders to invest in early childhood development for every child in every country.

Children聽need聽nutrition, care and learning聽for the best start in life. That鈥檚聽why聽sa国际传媒 launched the聽, which has聽been backed by Antonio Guterres, who will become聽the new United Nations Secretary-General聽in January.

To show that young children around the world need your support, we asked people to share a picture of themselves under the age of five. That鈥檚 because聽90% of a child鈥檚 brain has developed by the time they鈥檙e five. Poorer or marginalised children who can鈥檛 access the support and care they need聽are put at a disadvantage.聽They can end up starting school with a limited vocabulary and reduced ability to learn, which will affect their聽opportunities in later life.
