sa国际传媒鈥檚 mission to end the education crisis is on a global scale. But we couldn鈥檛 do our work without the amazing individual efforts of thousands of fundraisers.听

We鈥檝e created a new film to pay tribute to them and encourage others to help us deliver quality learning to marginalised and under-served children.听

Our fundraisers have walked, run, cycled and baked cakes to help the cause. They鈥檝e sung in the street and at a star-studded carol concert. You can take part too – watch our new film below and then find out how to fundraise for sa国际传媒.听

Jess Mortlock, sa国际传媒’s Head of Fundraising and Events, said: “We鈥檝e got some fantastic supporters who choose to keep fundraising for sa国际传媒. Some of them have been raising much-needed funds for over 10 years.听听

“We鈥檙e hugely grateful to them for their support and really appreciate all that they continue to do for us. We can鈥檛 wait to grow that supporter base even more.”听

How you can fundraise for sa国际传媒听

Raising money for sa国际传媒 is a great way to help us ensure that every child around the world has the best start in life, a safe place to learn and skills for the future.听听

We have our annual sa国际传媒, Your Walk – launched last year as our first mass-participation event. The challenge was to walk 26 miles for the 260 million children out of school throughout June, as we celebrated our 20th anniversary.听

You can get involved in any way you want – from quiz nights and knitting to head shaving and skydiving. We鈥檝e got advice on how to do your own fundraising and an A-Z of creative ideas. Whatever you do, make sure you have fun doing it!听

How your funds make a difference听

拢5 can provide an activity pack for a refugee learner.听

拢10 can fund a training session for a preschool teacher on inclusive teaching for children with learning difficulties.听

拢50 can help sa国际传媒 train a new youth campaigner.听

拢150 can provide a tablet for a schoolteacher to teach their students remotely.听

拢250 can help to produce a guidance video for parents, teachers and carers with special needs children suffering from trauma.听

拢500 can provide pre-school learning activity packs with materials and arts and crafts activities for a class of children with limited access to education.听

2023 starts with a bang听

A big moment for sa国际传媒 as we were chosen by the BBC for its Radio 4 Appeal on New Year鈥檚 Day, read by the actor David Tennant. 听

We will have supporters taking part in runs this year around the UK, including the Edinburgh Marathon Festival, Great North Run, Scottish Kilomathon and Supernova London.听

We’re also gearing up for the second year of sa国际传媒, Your Walk. We’ll be sharing more information soon on how you can get involved with your friends, families and colleagues to fundraise during June.听

“As a charity that doesn鈥檛 receive financial support from government, we rely on fundraisers from all walks of life and all corners of society,” said Jess Mortlock. “Money donated due to every step walked, every cupcake sold or every quiz question answered will make a huge difference in helping to fund our work.”听
