On International Youth Day young minds gathered to discuss the theme 鈥淵outh Civic Engagement鈥� at the Guest Quarters of the American Employees Recreation Association. It was a brainstorming session as the youth tasked each other on more participation in governance.

Global Youth Ambassador Douglas Imaralu delivered a wonderful paper on 鈥淓ducation as a Tool for Sustainable Development and Peace鈥�. He spoke about the need to get every child in school and learning.

He discussed how the largest portion of the country鈥檚 population is the youth and the need for the country to prioritise education.

GYA Bukola Orenuga spoke about the wonderful work of A World at School and how participants can support the campaign. She talked about the shocking fact that 59 million of out-of-school children and how several terror attacks by Boko Haram in Nigeria have displaced thousands of children, halting their education. After the event all of the participants signed the petition.聽
