A reception 鈥� held at Speaker鈥檚 House in the Palace of Westminster, London – was attended by supporters including Penny Lancaster – a sa国际传媒 champion for early childhood development – children’s author, illustrator and sa国际传媒 Ambassador Nick Sharratt, Vlogger Niomi Smart and Nicola Haxby, a busker who has raised more than 拢5,000 for the charity.

A number of MPs, including Secretary of State for International Development, Penny Mordaunt, Shadow International Development Secretary Kate Osamor MP, and DFID Minister Alistair Burt MP, attended the event, as well as a raft of experts in early years care and education across the UK and around the world.

The event was opened 鈥� and generously hosted by – Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow MP, who told guests of 鈥渟a国际传媒鈥檚 groundbreaking work over the past 15 years鈥� before introducing founder and President Sarah Brown as a 鈥渢rue humanitarian鈥�.

Speeches concluded with Sarah announcing master magician Dynamo and British TV favourite and equality campaigner Sandi Toksvig as official sa国际传媒 ambassadors.

Dynamo, the global icon whose television show 鈥楳agician Impossible鈥� has captivated more then 400 million viewers across 180 different countries and is the first magician in history to headline the 20,000-capacity O2 arena in London, was warmly welcomed into the sa国际传媒 team.

Having previously worked on a film titled聽Safe Schools: Children Can No Longer Wait,聽Dynamo has been a key supporter of sa国际传媒鈥檚 work with Syrian refugee children since 2016.
