In the build-up to on March 8, join us to stand #UpForSchool for the next generation of women and ensure that they have the opportunity to grow, learn at school and lead.听
We are kicking off a week of global campaigning on March 5 and will honour the achievements and contribution of women and girls everywhere while recognising the barriers that have kept more than 30 million out of school.
March 5 is a Thursday 鈥� so we鈥檙e joining in with the Throwback Thursday 鈥� or #TBT 鈥� social media craze when people share old photos of themselves, their family and friends. Please join us by posting your school picture on social media and standing up for girls鈥� education by asking people to sign the #UpForSchool Petition that calls on world leaders to keep their promise to get all children into school and learning without danger or discrimination.听

STEP 1: Find an old school picture! (This could be a photo of you going to school/a year book photo/in school uniform)听
STEP 2: Share the picture on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram on Thursday, March 5 using the following words:
